Help the Thomas Wall Trust to build on its distinctive legacy by making a donation

The demand on the Trust's funds is now greater than ever.  From time to time people who have been given a grant in the past get in touch to update us on their career achievments and to make a gift to the Trust to help others as they had been helped.  The Trustees warmly welcome this contact and gratefully acknowledge such generosity.

If you have recieved support from the Trust which may have helped you on the road to success and you wish in the future to help provide support to others, there are several ways you can do this by making a donation.

Give by post/email

Please complete the donation form at the bottom of the page and return it to us by post, or email.

Please remember that if you are a UK taxpayer and you Gift Aid it, the Trust gets an extra 25 pence from the HRMC for every pound you give. On top of that if you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim further tax relief on the donation in your annual tax return.

Asset giving

If you donate shares, land or buildings to the Trust you receive tax relief and also you will not be liable for tax on any capital gains.

Gift in your Will

Legacies enable many to contemplate making a larger gift than would be possible during their lifetime since it does not affect day-to-day income. When you make or update your Will, please consider making a gift to the Thomas Wall Trust. Your solicitor will advise you on the best way to record your intentions and maximise the impact on your financial arrangements. Should you wish to make a change to an existing Will a solicitor can advise you on adding a codicil.
